FOUR GENERATIONS OF WOODWORKERS

My grandfathers created shaker style furniture using traditional joinery. That love and appreciation for hand cut and exposed joinery was passed down to my father and myself. By blending traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic, I’m always integrating my family’s history and that of the woodworking craft into our pieces.

Additionally, my upbringing on our horse farm has certainly influenced a curiosity for the American equestrian style, and sparked my desire to include leatherwork into our designs. These roots have led me to create several pieces that speak to the fundamentals of western style in a modern way.

This fusion of woodworking history and craftsmanship is powerful. I’m so humbled knowing that our pieces become integral to people’s daily experiences, evolving alongside them over time. It is immensely rewarding to trust that these cherished items are passed down through families, carrying with them not just functional utility, but also a timeless legacy of craftsmanship and significance.
